About the Breeder
I have been a stay at home mother for 40 years. This has given me the opportunity to raise my children and many furry friends. I have a passion for the outdoors and all my animals. I care for my horses, cats, various wild game that come to visit, and my dogs. I have experience with many exceptional dog breeds. I have chosen to breed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers because of their loyalty. I fell in love with our first female dead grass beauty "Maddie Mad Dog" in 1988. My husband brought her home and she quickly became a family member. She became the babysitter, alarm, guard dog, and soon to be hunting companion. Maddie was keen and attentive in the ponds. She listened and was quick to react. With a soft mouth, she collected the success of the bird hunt year after year. I have always applauded and admired this breed. I am confident in selling the quality of the Chesapeake name and happy to add this breed as a family member to anyone suited. I finally found my way back to owning another Chesapeake female in 2014 with our Dam, Birdie Bird Dog. My son is the owner of the sire Gunner. We are a family of Chesapeake lovers. We are also a family of hunters. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are the chosen breed due to our matching passions in life. Loyalty, love, protection, and hunting.
